Our physicians are looking for an efficient, proactive team member who can collaborate with them to provide care for a diversified, often complex, patient population. This individual will work under the supervision of attending physicians in the Department of Urology and report to the Medical Director of the Urology Clinic. The incumbent will assist the attending surgeons in the development, implementation and evaluation of patient care management for Urology patients. The incumbent will play a major role in the Urologic Clinics. Duties in the clinic will include, but are not limited to, seeing and evaluating new and return patients, doing urinalysis evaluations, post vasectomy semen analysis, preparing patients and their families for surgery, triaging patient phone calls, calling prescriptions and communicating with other health care providers, performing and/or assisting with catheterization, transrectal ultrasound of the prostate with biopsy, Urodynamic studies (including interpretation), cystoscopy procedures, and other minor surgical procedures.
