| ARNP, Full Time (Gainesville, FL) (Added to listing 1/31/2010) Gainesville/University of Florida, Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine. The University of Florida Department of Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine is accepting applications for a tull time nurse practitioner. This person will report to the Chief of the Division in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. The position will function under the supervision of a licensed and credentialed physician, providing diagnostic and therapeutic health care to Pulmonary and Critical Medicine patients being treated in pulmonary and critical care service areas. The nurse practitioner will provide comprehensive examination, assessment, and evaluation of patients in pulmonary consult/procedure service. The candidate will be trained to assist the physician and perform pulmonary procedures. The activities will be inclusive of developing care plans, providing medications, diagnostic tests, patient and family education, ancillary prescriptions, scheduling clinic appointments for discharged patients, setting up procedures, inpatient and outpatient and outpatient referrals, and keeping track of Procedure service. Salary range is $75,000-$83,000, commensurate within this range based on experience and education. Master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and ARNP license required.
